It is difficult to internet market.  And you thought that was hard.  Wait until you make your own website!  You can start multiple websites with limited funding.

 

There will be certain costs to operate a website.  Obtain some training.  Learn from mistakes by others, not your own.  You may purchase anything from a low cost used book written by a website guru to personalized training costing into the thousands of dollars.  I purchased one of those thousand dollar courses online.  Needless to say, after you do the training and mimic everything they tell you to, you are often left out of the loop after they have your money.  The truth is that many supposed website gurus actually make more money telling you how to make money than they do marketing products on the web.

 

It is time to name your website.  Keyword research covered by other articles should be explored.  For this article, we will be concerned about getting the name.  The name has two parts and is referred to as a domain name.   There is an address and extension you probably know as the now famous dot com.   Domain names are great to purchase on Go Daddy.   Why are they different from other providers?  Good question.  Go Daddy has sales more often and more consistently on the most popular extensions.  Sure you may find the net or info extensions cheaply everywhere.  But check out the prices on the com and co.  Now compare Go Daddy prices on the same extensions.  Com and co extensions consistently add ranking points to your site by the big search engines. 

 

We have the domain name.  Just because you might purchase the domain in a specific website does not mean that it has to stay parked there.  The domain name can travel.  That’s another reason for Go Daddy.  They allow the name to move.  Let’s go hosting site shopping.  I consistently hear website gurus recommending Host Gator.  Host Gator features the Baby Plan.  Why should I choose it?  Well, currently you are charged less than seven dollars a month.  It is great because you are given unlimited domains, unlimited disk space and unlimited band width.  I have another website that costs me over ten dollars a month just for the one spot.  What this means is that you can buy 500 domain names from Go Daddy and park them here for the same one monthly fee.  Yes, all 500 domains for one fee.   And the blogs for each website are free.   Traffic data is free.   I currently have ten domains with websites and two blogs attached per domain.  I could add ten more per website if I want.
